Good morning! Day 2 started with a simple breakfast followed by a 2-hr drive to the Rancabali tea plantation factory near Cidewy where we learn how tea is grown and processed.
We were treated to high quality tea and learnt the different grades of tea leaves and tea dust. We also learnt how to grade tea too!
Lunch was done at a traditional Sudanese restaurant where rice was prepared in a special way. Ryan enjoyed the sambal chilli even though it was super spicy.
After lunch, we proceeded to a strawberry farm to pick our dessert. We were told that it costs about rp8000 (80 cents) for 100g of strawberries.
We also visited the NuArt museum. Fantastic art sculptures!!
Dinnertime was spent at a laidback restaurant where there’s live performances and a performance by our local tour guide Pak Tian!
Everyone retired to their rooms after we reached the hotel.
